Writers form the Netherlands and the Middle East will introduce a Dutch audience to the highlights of Arab literature and tell about the impact and influence of their favorite books on their own work.
سيقوم الكتاب من هولندا والشرق الأوسط بتعريف الجمهور الهولندي بأبرز الأدب العربي وسيخبرون عن تأثير وتأثير كتبهم المفضلة على أعمالهم.
Yasser Al-Zayat
Yasser Al-Zayat is a renowned journalist and poet from Egypt, living in the Netherlands since 2013. He has published four books, one of them called The Being’s Fear. His poetry is disconnected from both his original home as from the present. It is, so to speak, as uprooted as his own life, but at the same time strongly tied to his mother tongue.
ياسر الزيات صحفي وشاعر مصري شهير ، يعيش في هولندا منذ عام 2013. أصدر أربعة كتب ، شعره منفصل عن موطنه الأصلي كما عن الحاضر. إنه ، إذا جاز التعبير، مُقتلع مثل حياته ، لكنه في نفس الوقت مرتبط بشدة بلغته الأم.

Mounira Al Solh
Mounira Al Solh (1978) is a Libanese artist and an ardent collector of personal narratives. Feminist and migrant issues and microhistories form the starting point of much of her multidisciplinary work: drawings, paintings, embroidery, performances and video installation. As few others she is mastering the art of being socially engaged and frivolous at the same time.
منيرة الصلح (1978) فنانة لبنانية ومقتنية متحمسة للروايات الشخصية. تشكل القضايا النسوية والمهاجرة والتاريخ الدقيق نقطة البداية لكثير من أعمالها متعددة التخصصات: الرسومات واللوحات والتطريز والعروض والتركيب بالفيديو. كقليل من الآخرين ، فهي تتقن فن الانخراط في المجتمع والعبث في نفس الوقت.

Wafai Laila
Wafai Laila (1964) is a Syrian poet based in Sweden. He published more than ten collections of poetry, amongst them A Spacious House with Two Bathrooms and My Name is 4 Numbers. In Sweden, he won praise for his performances and recitations of poetic texts.
وفاي ليلى (1964) شاعر سوري مقيم في السويد. نشر أكثر من عشر مجموعات شعرية ، من بينها "بيت واسع به حمامان" و "اسمي 4 أرقام". في السويد ، نال الثناء على أدائه وقرائته للنصوص الشعرية.

Paul Alexander
Paul Alexander (1967) is a writer and a journalist. He is working with Pages Bookstore Café since 2017 and initiator of Talking Books, a monthly literary talk between a Syrian and Dutch author.
